This lodge was a great value for money and the room was incredibly cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, tucked away behind a main street, making it peaceful and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, with locals giving us great recommendations and making us feel welcome.

The location of this lodge is unbeatable. Being right in the center of town, we were able to easily explore the nearby pubs, shops, and attractions. Plus, it's a great base for visiting other nearby places like Bamburgh and Alnmouth. the lodge itself is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. With friendly locals offering recommendations and the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, we felt right at home. the lodge even provides tea and coffee for that extra welcoming touch.

The only downside we found was the lack of private parking, but considering the central location, it's understandable. On-street parking can be a bit challenging during peak season.

Loved hiking nearby, especially since my legs are now in great shape after climbing all those stairs in the medieval town. Dunstanburgh Castle and Edlingham Castle were both great for my historical fix. The seating area was cozy for some "Me time"!

Oh, how I was longing for my dog to join me on this majestic adventure. Too bad not all places appreciate the presence of such noble companions.
